Urban innovation not only promotes sustainable global development, it also affects our daily lives. The Guangzhou Internatioanl Award for Urban Innovation (Guangzhou Award) aims to promote the exchange of best practices in urban governance. By doing so it seeks to advance the prosperity and quality of life of all urban inhabitants.

The 6th Guangzhou Award received a total of 274 initiatives from 193 cities and local governments in 54 countries and regions, and 15 cities stood out as the shortlisted cities after the selection by the Technical Committee.
第六届广州奖共收到来自54个国家和地区193个城市和地方政府的274个项目申报参评，并由技术委员会从中选出15个入围城市创新案例。
